Protect Your Home With Our Specialist Roofing Services
D Harrison Home Improvements will construct a brand new roof on your home and oversee the entire process. Slate or tiles come in a variety of types and colours, which can be chosen to match the colour of your home's bricks or the outside colour of the render. We also provide and install new felt under the roof line, which aids in the insulation of your home. We work on flat roofs, pitched roofs, tiled roofs, and slate roofs. If you want us to source recovered slate or reclaimed tiles, or have them re-used, please let us know, and we'll do our best to find the perfect colour/shape/design, for example, to mix in with nearby houses or the landscape. You may rest confident that you are protected by a 10-year insurance-backed guarantee.

Why EPDM Rubber Roofing?
For several decades, the use of Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (or EPDM) has been on the rise. Despite the fact that the technology is highly advanced, not all EPDMs are created equal. We employ DuoPlyTM and ClassicBondTM membranes because we believe they will best serve our clients.
Recent research on old EPDM found that it still had outstanding tensile strength, rip resistance, and weathering resistance after 26 years of real-world exposure. EPDM does not become brittle with age.
Where EPDM Rubber Membranes can be applied?
EPDM is a long-lasting roofing material for all types of residential flat roofs, including dormers, garages, mansard roofs, porches, balconies, terraces, and gutters. The system is fully attached to the deck or insulation, and the seams are spliced with cutting-edge seam technology. As a result, the roof obtains maximum strength and long-term durability.

Do I need planning permission for a garden office?
The majority of the time, you won't need planning clearance for your garden office. Furthermore, our garden office structures do not need to be approved by the construction department.
We can install your garden quickly and cost-effectively since we can enlarge your home without needing planning permission or building rules approval. This saves you money, time, and stress.
Benefits of Steel-framed garden rooms:
While lumber is a sturdy building material, it can't compete with steel. Light gauge steel, commonly referred to as cold-formed steel, is significantly lighter and stronger than wood of comparable size.
Metal frames are fully planned and built offsite and simply need to be assembled once they arrive. In practice, the shell can be constructed in hours rather than days. Faster assembly not only means less downtime during construction but also means lower expenses.
Simple, durable, and dependable, a metal frame will not decay, warp, split, or crack over time as a timber frame might. Steel frameworks are also impervious to pests and insects.
