Services:
Crown Reductions:
One of the most prevalent Tree Surgery procedures is crown reduction. Crown reduction lessens the overall area of the crown and is usually measured in meters (both laterally and vertically). Crown reductions are frequently employed to keep trees in confined locations alive, enhance light, and reduce encroachment on space or buildings. All of our tree work complies with British Standard 3998:2010 instructions.
Crown Thinning:
Tree crown thinning entails progressively eliminating a number of secondary branches in such a way that the crown structure is balanced, thinning down and reducing density while maintaining the tree's overall size and shape. Crown thinning is often used to prune fruit trees and is mostly used on broad-leaved tree types.
Deadwood Removal:
This process is usually carried out in high-risk areas, such as over roads/footpaths, in gardens, or in public places, to avoid any difficulties with falling debris. It entails climbing across a tree's whole canopy to remove dead branches that will eventually deteriorate and collapse. It could be finished in a variety of ways (such as large pieces only).
Tree Felling/ Sectional Dismantling:
There are times when there is no other choice except to cut down possibly dangerous trees.
The most typical reasons for removal are decay, fungal infection, bacterial infection, and just being planted in the wrong spot.
It is important to climb the tree and lower it in small pieces using rope equipment to manage the descent of the waste material when it is close to structures or possibly hazardous.
When there is enough room to down the tree entirely, specialized tree felling techniques are required to keep everyone safe and the environment unscathed.
Stump Grinding:
Stump grinding is the process of grinding or cutting the wood of a stump into mulch or chips using a machine with carbide teeth attached to a wheel that spins at a high speed. Allowing for turfing or replanting of the area.
Tree Preservation Orders (TPO'S):
The local planning authority (LPA), which is usually a local council, issues a TPO to protect specified trees and landscapes from intentional harm and destruction.
CM Tree Care can contact the LPA to see if your proposed project is subject to a TPO or if you're in a Conservation Area.
Before any proposed works can be carried out, CM Tree Care can submit an application; this process usually takes roughly 8 weeks.
