A second generation family business, Britannia Windows was established in 1982. We still have the reputation of being a decent, honest, local business recognised for producing high-quality work and taking care of our clients, even though we now cover the majority of the South and South West of England with a network of local businesses. We work hard to stay on the front edge of technology to offer our clients the greatest quality, cutting-edge products at fair rates. We are proud of the reputation that we have established over the past four decades.

Thomas Rushton, my great, great grandpa, started the family heritage by teaching Frederick Rushton the trades of carpentry and shopfitting in 1860, just in time for King Edward VII's coronation at Westminster Abbey.

Following in the family's footsteps, my granddad Richard Rushton originally studied carpentry at the deaf school in Crickhowell in 1926 before relocating to North Somerset to pursue his career as a cabinet maker.

Before working for Rolls Royce Aerospace as an aircraft engineer, my father, Geoffrey Rushton, also learned carpentry. A talented craftsman with an attention to precision, dad rose to the position of production manager at Smarts Aluminium in Yatton before founding Britannia Windows with my mother Glenys in 1982, at the start of the PVC sector. Our central office and cutting-edge manufacturing plant have been in Clevedon for almost 40 years.

Mom concentrated on running the office and handling the finances, while dad was concerned about the quality of manufacture and installation. Britannia grew quickly through word-of-mouth thanks to the ideal combination.

I frequently found myself building windows in the factory or assisting wherever was needed from a very young age because my parents worked so hard. When I graduated from college in 1998, I joined the family business and immediately started working hard to invest in machinery and assemble the best team I could in order to give our valued customers the highest quality products at competitive prices, backed up by excellent service and careful attention to detail.

For 40 years, we've been refining the process of creating and installing windows and doors. Dad had unmatched attention to detail, and we've been improving what we do. This knowledge has been condensed into a system that we refer to as the "Geoff Rushton Way"; it is a collection of rules and guidelines that we adhere to on a daily basis to guarantee reliable production and installation.

With this formula for success and significant investments in automated equipment, the chance to grow occurred in 2011, leading to the purchase of regional installation Perfecta Windows. As a result, Network Britannia Windows was constructed, and it currently has a number of branches spread out over the South and South West of England. Customers benefit from the same principles that our family has fought tirelessly to uphold: amiable local service, supported by a production facility and head office with the means to provide our customers with top quality products at competitive costs.

While some of the original proprietors of Network Britannia's member companies have retired, all of them were founded as family businesses, and their seasoned staff continues to look after their loyal clientele and upholds our principles.

With the resources, backup, and support of one of the most successful businesses in the sector, you as a consumer get to enjoy all the advantages of shopping locally.

Britannia believes that you shouldn't have to give up the windows you want. We can construct the ideal size and style of window to match your property because all of our goods are made in our cutting-edge factory close to Bristol. Britannia is obsessed with quality, thus we always lead the way in industry innovation because we want to make sure your new windows are the finest they can be. You can pick between double or triple glazing, and we only use glass that is A+ approved. The uPVC we use today is very different from the uPVC that was popular in the 1980s. It is sophisticated, exceptionally insulative, and now comes in a variety of colours and wood finishes.
